  You start with our Lock & Load Underbed Gooseneck hitch installed in your tow vehicle.
     
  The first step is to remove the gooseneck ball from its underbed canister.
     
  Next, you install the special “Over/Under” adapter and the Hawkeye fifth wheel head into the canister.


That is all it takes to turn your 25,000-pound Lock & Load Underbed Gooseneck into a 17,000-pound fifth wheel hitch.

Now you can use your pickup truck the way it was meant to be used, as a multi-purpose vehicle!

The Freedom Inverted 5th Wheel System all starts with the Putnam Hitch Products Lock & Load Underbed Gooseneck hitch. This 25,000 pound gooseneck hitch provides you with the ability to switch from flat pickup bed to gooseneck hauling in seconds.

  Step One is to remove the gooseneck ball from the underbed canister.
     
  Step Two is to install the Freedom Inverted plate in the underbed canister.
     
  Step Three – install the Freedom Inverted Fifth Wheel Head on your RV Trailer’s kingpin.



Step Four – Hook up and off you tow!
